IFA Summit 2025 in Washington DC

Intercessors For America Prayer Summit 2025

Last weekend, Bishop Bill Pezzutti and his wife Deacon Rosie joined intercessory prayer warriors from around the nation in Washington DC at the IFA summit. The event was initially planned to take place at the US Capitol, but was moved to the nearby Royal Sonesta Hotel. Needless to say, moving the event did NOT stop the Holy Spirit from moving throughout the event! The focus of the summit was 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 ‘The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the flesh. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.’

Anointed Worship, Teaching and Prayer

The summit opened by entering into Spirit-filled worship, after which the IFA President David Kubal gave a call to action, asking those assembled “How can a nation be blessed of God? How can we rededicate our nation to the Lord?” The call he expressed is to renew the covenants which have formed the backbone of our nation since before it’s inception. We are bound as Christians in a Christian nation to bring our government back into covenantal alignment with the King.
The Intercessors then spent time in prayer for restoration of the nation’s covenants which seem to have fallen by the wayside in recent years.

Intercessors For America

For over 50 years IFA has been on the front lines of the spiritual battlegrounds, working to lead the nation to a heart of powerful, intercessory prayer. Here we see IFA staff and leadership (Dave and Kris Kubal, and Bill and Betsy West) together with state politicians who attended. To the left is state Senator Doug Mastriano and his wife Rebecca. On the right, Pennsylvania state representative Stephanie Borowicz. It is critical that we join hands with the leaders of our states and nation in prayer, and service to the Lord.

Addressing Important Issues of Today

Over the course of the summit, several speakers involved in various facets of government gave briefings addressing topics ranging from the climate of political violence and national security threats, to collaboration between Christian media groups and governmental grant sources. Overall the message of the day was working in collaboration to build the Kingdom of Christ up in our nation, and tear down the strongholds of the enemy through fervent, and mighty prayer.
