Have you ever heard the term “OVERWATCH”? It relates to providing cover for another’s mission. That’s a role some of you may be called to fill. Let me tell you why … and how.
I’ve heard it said that the only sure things in life are death and taxes. Neither one of us is likely to escape either one. But I know another thing that’s as sure as the sun rising in the east.
Leadership — whether in a family, a church or a business — is truly about love. The best leaders love the people they lead. There’s a great spiritual lesson there, too.
Nobody likes pollution; not of any sort. We prefer clean and fresh. Today I want to tell you about the greatest cleanup project in history!
Most people work hard to make their life as comfortable as it can be. A comfortable place to live, a reliable food supply, a good education. But all too often, there’s a key element being overlooked.
Selfless sacrifices that put the fate of others above themselves are always to be honored. On Memorial Day, we take time to do just that. Won’t you join me as we reflect on some of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
People will judge you by the clothing you wear. This is NOT a devotional about jeans and dresses (but I will use them as a key illustration). So let’s talk about some important things to MAKE SURE you’re wearing.
Have you ever heard of a “Come As You Are” party. It’s an impromptu affair, a last-minute get together. The host says, “Don’t bother getting all fancy, just come on over now.” There’s a spiritual lesson or two we can pull out of that.
This morning I want to speak with you about a goal worth living for. Actually, an even bigger goal than that – one worth dying for! And THAT’s a big difference.
