Is GCAC The Church For Me?

Whether your gifts lie in music, hospitality, teaching, technology, or practical service, there is a place for you in this mission. The church invites anyone looking for historic faith, spiritual growth, and meaningful fellowship to join a community that is eager to actively serve and establish a lasting Gospel witness in Warrenton VA.

A Local Calling With Global Roots

Great Commission Anglican Church (GCAC) is emerging in Warrenton, Virginia, with a vision that is deeply rooted in the heart of Fauquier County yet connected to a global family of faith. While honoring the many faithful churches already serving the area, GCAC seeks to establish a historic Anglican presence that brings weekly worship, discipleship, and Gospel outreach into everyday community life.

As a mission church of the Confessing Anglican Church (CAC), GCAC is part of a worldwide communion of approximately 2.1 million believers, many of whom serve in regions marked by persecution. This connection ensures that the church is not building an isolated institution but participating in a universal mission to make disciples across the globe.

Uncompromising Doctrine and Community Care

At the core of GCAC’s identity is a steadfast commitment to the inerrant Word of God and the historic Christian faith, anchored in the Apostles’, Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds. Worship is designed to be centered on Scripture, prayer, preaching, and the Sacraments, reflecting the Great Commandment to love God and neighbor.

Beyond doctrine, the mission is deeply practical: ministers are called to care for the brokenhearted, strengthen marriages and families, and raise up disciples who live boldly in today’s culture. The church aims to build authentic community rooted in truth and grace, partnering with other biblically grounded churches across denominational lines to advance the Kingdom of God.

We’d Love To Meet You!

You can experience this unique community firsthand by visiting our regular Sunday gathering at 8:00 AM. Services are currently held in the Red Shed classroom area at the Clark Brothers Gun Shop (10016 James Madison Hwy, Warrenton, VA 20186), a space that has become a hub for prayer, biblical preaching, and fellowship for people from various backgrounds.

As the church works toward launching regular activities and securing a permanent home, we are also seeking financial partners to support outreach, discipleship, and long-term planting efforts. Whether you come to worship, serve, or give, you are invited to be a laborer together with God in establishing this faithful Anglican witness.

What Locals Say About GCAC …

What can I say about Great Commission Anglican Church?
I love it.
I truly do. I was a lapsed Lutheran for longer than I care to admit. Then I started to attend GCAC on a regular basis. I found my Church family. Right now we are a small congregation, but we are strong. Father Jim Craft has a way of speaking that is so engaging. His love for God is strong in every word, his excitement, and energy adds so much to his Sermons. I feel so blessed to have found my way again. We forget how important it is to feed our Souls, and mine was starving.
Not anymore.

I found the Great Commission Anglican Church during COVID and its associated issues. Services were held outside in all weather on the range. Though small yet nothing kept us from gathering for services… nothing. The strength of this church IS absolutely wonderful. Praise God for bringing me back. My spirit so deeply needed what it has been blessed with. Thank you Lord.
