Ongoing Efforts to Save Taliban Victims

Ongoing Efforts to Provide Safety for Taliban Victims

As US forces withdrew from Afghanistan in August of 2021, they left behind a chaotic power void which was quickly filled by the Taliban. These Islamic extremists have continued to persecute and brutalize the Christians who have remained trapped there. This critical objective is where the Confessing Anglican Church has targeted a great amount of resources, both time and aid money, to try to save as many lives as possible. Whether by working to get visa’s from safer nations such as Pakistan, and European countries, or providing for daily sustenance through food, fuel, medicine and rent money.

Immediate Impact to save lives!

If you have ever been without daily necessities, not knowing whether you will have food, water, power, or heat for the next days, or weeks, you can start to put yourself in the shoes of many of the refugees from the Afghanistan conflict. But remember, not only have these families been in that spot for months, and years, but many of them are under active threat of being attacked by Taliban Terrorists, who are the active governing party in Afghanistan. That is why this is such an important work for us to be involved in, providing food, and safety to as many as we can. Last week our team in Afghanistan delivered a month of food to a family of five. Two of the children (identities protected) are pictured here with part of the food drop.

You can help PHYSICALLY and SPIRITUALLY!

Although we work extensively with contacts on the ground in Afghanistan and Pakistan, providing sustenance for so many in need is beyond the resources of the CAC. We partner with numerous groups and individuals to seek funding to pay for food, fuel, clothing, and rent for these families in extreme need. Significant spiritual inroads have been made with several of these refugees. When Christians save their lives, they are confronted with the Gospel of Jesus. Many of them have watched (and asked questions about) the Jesus film in their local language. Others have expressed their desire to put their faith in Jesus. This is not just a “faith for food” false promise; but even refugees that have been relocated to the US have continued their faith journey. Will you join us and help save the lives of families hiding from the Taliban? $185 provides a month’s worth of food for a family of 5. Give that, if you are able; or any amount you can to support this lifesaving work. Please click the button below to give.
