Tikkun America Leadership Conference

A few weeks ago, Archbishop Vince McLaughlin, Bishop Bill Pezzutti and Deaconess Rosie Pezzutti attended the Tikkun America Restore” Leadership Conference in Elliott City, Maryland.
The Confessing Anglican Church and Tikkun America entered into a Concordat for Partnership to advance God’s Kingdom together.
The formal document was signed on June 18th at the conference, and the leader of Tikkun America, Rabbi Ben Juster, publicly read the Concordat at the gathering.
The agreement emphasizes the need for unity as different parts of the same body, different in structure and function – but one in purpose.

Enjoying the Conference

Bishop Bill and Deaconess Rosie had an opportunity to speak to the
gathering on Wednesday night and on Thursday evening, during the signing
ceremony, they had an opportunity to pray for the leadership team of Tikkun America.

Archbishop Vince McLaughlin, who shares a consanguine affinity with the Messianic Jewish community, was also able to attend and encourage his brothers on both sides of the partnership.

The Lord gave Bishop Bill a word for Tikkun that they should expect a
new outpouring of the Holy Spirit and an expansion of their ministry to the entire Body of Christ beyond anything they could have thought or imagined. The Holy Spirit showed up in an amazing way that evening. The presence and power of God was tangible in every corner of the room. Bishop Bill and Deaconess Rosie went around the room praying for and ministering to the young and old. It was a powerful night!

Concordat Agreement

The Body of the Concordat reads:
Let it be known that obedience to the prayer of our Lord Jesus Christ that we all be one, as He and the Father are one, and recognizing our common purpose to proclaim the Gospel to all the world, the above – named ministries enter into a Partnership Agreement to strengthen the sense of unity and oneness in the Body of Christ.
We commit to support one another in prayer, encouragement, and when
possible, fellowship as we journey together fulfilling our calling in
Jesus Christ.
This document shall serve as a sign of our recognition that we are in mutual
spiritual kinship within the historic religious tradition of the one, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

An Exhortation from Bishop Bill

“May the Holy Spirit continue to give the CAC wisdom on how to make this
partnership grow with Tikkun North America to see His Kingdom advance
throughout North America.
Just as we read in John chapter 17, ‘[20]My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,  [21]  that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.’
+ Bill Pezzutti
